Phoebe Blatton is a writer who grew up in London and lives in Berlin.  

She writes about art and culture, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, for various international publications including ArtReview, Art Monthly, Frieze, Flash Art, Apollo, Ocula, MAP and Most.

Phoebe also has a longstanding interest in the life and work of the queer author, critic and polemicist Brigid Brophy. Under The Coelacanth Press, she republished and introduced a critically acclaimed edition of Brophy's cult novel of 1956, The King of a Rainy Country with an afterword by Jennifer Hodgson and artwork by Bonnie Camplin. Phoebe's writing on Brophy appears in Brigid Brophy – Avant-Garde Writer, Critic, Activist.
